We’re located in Maffra, a country town in Gippsland home to a thriving farming community, 3 hours east of Melbourne. Cambrai Hostel is right in the centre of the town, walking distance from all local amenities.
HOW TO GET HERE
Whether you use public transport or drive to us, we are super easy to get to from Melbourne. It's quick and convenient, and perfect if you want a weekend away to take a break from work.

Trains run regularly from Southern Cross station in Melbourne to either Traralgon or Sale, where public buses drop you off in Maffra. Check either the PTV website or V/Line.

Buses run from Southern Cross station in Melbourne. Check the PTV or V/Line website.

Driving
Driving from Melbourne takes 2.5 hours. There is free on-street parking when you get here.
Our guests often go back and forth to Melbourne on weekends, so let people know your plans so that you can lift-share to save money on fuel.
